A former Norman High School student charged with first-degree rape is now being held on a $150,000 bond.
The judge also ruled Tristen Killman-Hardin cannot make contact with any of the witnesses.
Killman-Hardin sat in front of the judge by video on Wednesday. He said he understands the two first-degree rape charges he faces. Now, while he waits behind bars, those on the other side of this case wait with relief.
"I can say it's very stressful obviously, but when she got the news the charges were actually made I think she felt some relief. She's looking forward to finishing out the process," said Elton Jenkins.
What was first put into the spotlight by a student led protest outside of Norman High School is now in the spotlight of a courtroom.
"I find her extremely brave for what she is doing, especially knowing that what she is doing is going to be a long process and she's ready willing and able to do it and I'm proud of her,” said Jenkins.

Jenkins is the attorney for the 16-year-old victim in this case. She is just one of three girls who allege Killman-Hardin raped them while they were unconscious.
"We've dealt with similar situations, but I would say nothing on that scale since I've been D.A." said Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn.
Out of town at a conference, Mashburn spoke with News 9 over the phone about Killman-Hardin's already two charges of first-degree rape, as well as the possibility of additional charges.
Depending on the evidence found, the DA could also use that to showcase Killman-Hardin's past and likely future behavior.
"There's potential to use that evidence as propensity evidence. In other words, look at it as he has propensity towards girls," said Mashburn.
In a statement to News 9 after the arraignment, the 16-year old victim said, (she's) "Really happy and relieved that he was arrested and now girls in our community will be safe."
Killman-Hardin is not currently represented, but was told that he must have an attorney by his next court date on December 16.
