Naked and highly intoxicated, an Oklahoma City man was arrested after breaking into multiple trailer homes at a mobile home park on the southeast side of the metro early Wednesday morning.
Police arrested 24-year-old Gatlin Huff after responding to reports of burglaries at the Burntwood mobile home park, located in the 3300 block of SE 89th St., just before 3 a.m. on Wednesday.
When police arrived on scene they found Gatlin hiding behind a wooden shed on the property. Responding officers noted that Gatlin was “highly intoxicated on narcotics” and was completely naked. When Gatlin noticed the police, officers say he repeatedly tried to run through the wall of the shed. He then took off and got onto the porch of another trailer home, where police say he began to throw himself against the front door of the home, trying to get inside.
Officers were able to use their tasers to subdue Gatlin and get him into custody. Police say Gatlin was covered in blood from several cuts and lacerations all over his body. After investigating the scene, they soon learned that Gatlin had kicked in the front doors of two occupied trailers in the mobile home park and jumped through the windows of two other trailers.
Gatlin was first transported to Southwest Medical Center to be treated for the injuries he sustained during the burglaries. From there, officers took him to the Oklahoma County Jail where he was booked on four counts of First-Degree Burglary, one count of Indecent Exposure, and one count of Public Drunkenness. A bond was not set.
