Oklahoma City police are investigating a homicide in the southeast part of the city.
According to police, officers discovered a body just after 11 p.m. Monday in a Domino's Pizza parking lot near the intersection of S.E. 44th and Interstate 35. Homicide detectives were on the scene for several hours into early Tuesday morning.
Initially, police were called out to the Domino's Pizza parking lot for a welfare check. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man slumped over and dead in his car. Police said the man had been shot to death.
The victim's identity has not been released. No arrests have been made at this time, according to police.
Homicide detectives spent close to three hours at the scene, investigating and collecting evidence. Officers closed down S.E. 44th during their investigation.
Police are looking at surveillance video from nearby businesses for information.
