Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies along with Kickapoo tribal police arrested two would-be robbers after responding to a burglary-in-progress near Harrah.
When deputies arrived at the home, located in the 21000 block of State Highway 62, they located the pair being held on the ground by tribal officers in the backyard of the home. The suspects are identified as Richard Manning, 54, and Angelika Mitchell, 53.
The officers told the deputies they were called out to check on the home when they located the two inside of the residence, which is located on tribal land. When deputies spoke with Manning and Mitchell they say they admitted to breaking into the home.
The deputies located a truck the pair was driving with an attached trailer that contained a fishing boat, a riding lawn mower, a floor jack, rifles, digital scales, methamphetamine and other miscellaneous items. Investigators are still working to determine if any of those items were reported as stolen.
