Fire crews contained a grass fire near N.W. 234th and Meridian Avenue in Northwest Edmond, Saturday afternoon.
Smoke could be seen billowing into the skies near 192nd and Portland.
No drivers were allowed to pass through 234th and Meridian while crews battled the fire. Fire officials told News 9 no structures had been burned, as of 3 p.m. The cause of the fire wasn't immediately known.
