The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reopened the westbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike near the Wellston exit after a truck fire.

Troopers said the truck was hauling rubber mats and caught fire at about 1:25 a.m.

The OHP diverted westbound traffic onto Highway 66 at Chandler. The OHP reopened both westbound lanes at 6:46 a.m.

Troopers said the burning rubber caused a lot of smoke.

The OHP reopened one westbound lane at about 5:15 a.m. and said traffic at the fire scene was moving slowly in both directions.

No word on if there were any injuries due to the fire.
