Man Arrested For Stabbing Victim In SW OKC Apartment Complex

A man was arrested after police said he stabbed another man at a southwest Oklahoma City apartment complex early Saturday morning.

According to police, just before 1:30 a.m., officers responded to the report of a stabbing at Country Club Apartments, located at 5700 S. Agnew in Oklahoma City.

A man told police that the suspect, 46-year-old Vincent Earl Franklin, had invited him over to his apartment. However, the victim said when he met Franklin outside his door, Franklin began stabbing him without a reason. The victim said he was stabbed in the head and shoulder. 

Police said they saw blood on the victim's head and left shoulder. The victim was transported to OU Medical Center.

Franklin was arrested on a complaint of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Officers searched the area for the knife, but they were unable to find it.
