A video posted on Vine, which appears to show the house mother of OU fraternity SAE repeatedly using a racial slur, is quickly going viral.

Late Monday night, a video surfaced online, reportedly showing house mother Beauton Gilbow singing a song and repeatedly using the N-word. The video appears to show Gilbow "rapping" to Trinidad James' song titled “All Gold Everything," which was playing in the background.

Gilbow released the following statement concerning the video,

"I have been made aware that a video of me that is circulating on social media and in the news. I am heartbroken by the portrayal that I am in some way racist. I have friends of all race and do not tolerate any form of discrimination in my life. I was singing along to a Trinidad song but completely understand how the video must appear in the context of the events that occurred this week."

A 10-second video clip showing members of OU's Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) chanting racial slurs first surfaced sometime early Sunday afternoon and immediately went viral. The footage appears to be shot by a passenger on a bus with several members of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. In the brief video, you can hear and see the members loudly chanting together, “There will never be a n***** SAE.”
