Three people are dead after a driver, suspected of driving under the influence, crashed into their car, late Monday night.

Oklahoma City Police responded to the scene around 11:25 p.m. at the intersection of Reno and Rockwell.

Police say a yellow Chevy Cobalt with two adults and one child was traveling westbound on Reno Avenue when an Acura traveling southbound struck it.

At least five EMSA units responded.

The Medical Examiner pronounced one adult dead at the scene. The other adult died at the hospital. The child was rushed into surgery in critical condition, but at 6:45 a.m. OKC police confirmed the child died.

Police have identified the driver of the Acura as 22-year-old Demetrius Price. Price was treated for injuries at a local hospital, then placed under arrest and booked in jail.

Police have identified the victims as 34-year-old Jason Fields, 30-year-old Shannon West and 1-year-old Ruby Fields.

Price is currently facing two counts of Manslaughter in addition to Driving Under the Influence and Driving without a License. It is suspected he was driving under the influence of either alcohol or medication. The charges are expected to be modified Tuesday afternoon.
