Nearly two years after his death, there's a memorial where Christopher Lane was shot and killed.
Wednesday marked the third day in trial, likely the hardest so far for the Lane family.
Members were overheard sobbing during the testimony of bystanders who tried to help their beloved 22-year-old Christopher.

One Duncan resident testified on that August day in 2013, he heard a "pop" and knew right away it was a gunshot before seeing a black car drive off. He said he saw Christopher on the ground and ran to his aid. When he got to Lane, he said Lane was gasping for air and he told lane to "hang in there help is on the way."
A phone call was made to 911.
In the meantime, a woman drove up on the scene. She took the stand, Wednesday. She told jurors the first thing she did was turn Lane over and noticed his big brown eyes staring right at her. Blood was coming from his mouth and nose.
The two residents said they discussed what to do and one said "We need to do something; we're fixing to lose him."
Then they said minutes later, Lane "took his last breath."
Other testimony from investigators said Lane was identified at the hospital when a nurse remembered he played baseball at East Central University.
