The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is a star on social media, thanks to a photo of goats.

The goats in the picture are standing on a narrow ledge on a bridge where the Turner Turnpike passes over the on ramp from the westbound Creek Turnpike.

Jack Damrill, Director of Communications & Facilities for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, said the photo was taken on Saturday afternoon, April 25, 2015.

He said someone called the Oklahoma Highway Patrol to report the goats and the OHP called the authority.

"We are not sure who the goats belong to because all the property around this area is OTA. They obviously came from a good distance away. The goats got down on their own, but now we are continuing to try and locate the goats because we know they are still in the area, but haven't been able to catch them," he said.

Once the goats got off the bridge and weren't a risk to themselves or drivers, the OTA could see the humor in the situation and posted the photo on Twitter and Facebook.

"It definitely ranks as one of the top weirdest or funniest things we've encountered," Damrill said.
