Multiple Tornadoes Touch Down, Damage Reported In Oklahoma

Around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, storm trackers and radar confirmed a tornado touched down near Minco, Okla.

 Around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, storm trackers and radar confirmed a tornado touched down near Minco, Okla. Viewer Jacob Wade shared a photo of the tornado six miles south of Minco, one mile east of Highway 81. There were downed trees in that area, Wade told News 9.

Officials in Grady County said a home was also destroyed in the tornado. No one was home at the time, but the home was located at County Road 1260 and County Street 2802. 

The storm moved between Minco and Tuttle in Grady County. Residents in the area were urged to take caution.

Residents in Pocasset could see the tornado as it moved through that region. A News 9 viewer shared incredible video showing the funnel.

A News 9 viewer shared a photo of a possible tornado in Sulphur at 6:22 p.m.

Then at 6:24 p.m., a small tornado was confirmed near Newcastle. 

Radar indicated another possible tornado on the ground near Sasakwa, Okla. just after 6:30 p.m. News 9 viewers reported damage to football bleachers in Sasakwa.

Just after 6:40 p.m., sirens sounded as strong rotation was seen in Moore, south of 19th Street and east of Interstate 35 in Moore.

Around 7:15 p.m. a possible tornado was over top of Holdenville. Radar indicated strong rotation in that area.
