Fire Destroys RV In Rural Area Near Guthrie

Crews were called out to battle an RV fire at a mobile home park just south of Guthrie on Sunday.

The Sooner Volunteer Fire Department was called out to battle the blaze on property located in the 1700 block of Andy's Dr., just off Interstate 35 and E. Seward Dr.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly. No one was injured, but the RV is considered a total loss.

An official cause for the fire has not yet been determined, but the owners tell News 9 they were trying to move the RV from its location down to OKC when the fire broke out.

No other information has been released at this time.
