An arrest brings a glimmer of hope for a Chickasha family. Their daughter was found shot to death this week in Southeast Oklahoma City, and now they want justice.
“She was my only daughter,” Maria Lopez said.
Narciso and Maria Lopez, said Elizabeth Lopez was their youngest of three children.
“She was pretty happy all the time,” her father said. “She just decided to go on her own.”
Elizabeth Lopez was just 25. Now, her family is planning her funeral.

“We don't speak very good English,” Narciso Lopez said.
Their cries speak more than any words.
Police made an arrest in the case and took 22-year-old Quinton Kaniatobe into custody. Elizabeth's body was found early Tuesday morning in the street near the 800 block of SE 20th. She was shot in the head.
Detectives connected Kaniatobe to the crime after they arrested him two days following the discovery. He led officers on a chase in a stolen car. They eventually found him hiding in someone's backyard, and it was then that authorities tied Kaniatobe and the vehicle to Elizabeth's death.
“We want justice,” her father said.
Kaniatobe has a record including domestic violence, robbery with a dangerous weapon, burglary and multiple stolen vehicles and now possibly murder.
