Injuries Reported In Multi-Vehicle Crash On EB I-40, Near Portland

Emergency crews are on the scene of an injury crash on the eastbound side of Interstate 40, near S. Portland Ave., Wednesday afternoon.

At least three vehicles are reported to be involved in the crash, with two EMSA units being requested at the scene.

The crash has traffic backed up for two or three miles as authorities have shut down all but one lane of the eastbound side of the highway. 

The severity of the injuries is not known at this time and the cause of the crash has not yet been determined.
