Oklahoma City police released photos of a man accused of stealing cellphones from employees at two Integris hospital locations.
According to police, the first incident happened at about 8:35 a.m. on June 30 at Integris Southwest, located at 4401 S. Western. An employee said she was performing her duties when she saw a man leaning over the counter of her work space. When she confronted the man, he reportedly took off running through the hospital.
The employee said she then discovered that her cellphone was missing.
The second incident happened at about 5 p.m. on July 26 at Integris Baptist Hospital, located at 3300 NW Expressway. An employee said a man entered the room while she was out, reached across the desk and took her 64 GB iPhone. Police said the suspect left the building with the phone and got into a white, 4-door Buick bearing Texas tag DJP1077.
In both cases, surveillance cameras captured clear images of the suspect. Police said the same man is responsible for both larcenies.
Police released photos of the suspect and his vehicle on Tuesday, August 4. After posting the photos on Facebook, police said they have been contacted by two additional businesses who said this same man walked in and stole cell phones from their offices as well.
Police released another picture of the suspect from one of those businesses near N.E. 13th and Lincoln.
