An earthquake shook up residents near Edmond Sunday morning.
The 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 7:19 a.m. Its epicenter was located four miles east northeast of Edmond, 13 miles south of Guthrie, and 16 miles north of Midwest City.
It was about three miles deep.
No injuries or damages have been reported. According to the United State Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitude 4.0 and higher.
