Tulsa Public Schools' Board of Education has approved changes to its anti-harassment and bullying guidelines.

During its meeting Monday evening, the school board added gender expression and gender identity to the list of categories the district does not discriminate against.

Updated TPS guidelines

According to school officials, employees or students who violate the policy, can face disciplinary action.

In other action, the board approved a $1 hike in tickets for all school district athletic events.  Officials says the hike includes ticket prices for all football, volleyball, soccer and basketball games

They say the increase will cover the higher cost of maintaining a safe environment at all of its competition venues.
