The 2015 Oklahoma State Fair kicks off on Thursday with a brand new set of events and attractions, as well as new food creations, that are sure to close out summer with a bang!
Tickets at the gate cost $10 for adults (ages 12+) and just $5 for children (ages 6-11). Children under 5-years-old get in for free. Season passes cost $30 at the gate. Advanced tickets can be purchased online at a discounted price.
Events include Disney’s Frozen On Ice and Xtreme Bulls tour and concerts, featuring Gary Allan and the Casey Donahew Band. The Adventure Road Entertainment Stage will also host a number of musical performances.
See the complete schedule of events.
But don’t forget about the rides! Carnival hours run as follows: Monday (kids’ day) rides open at noon, Tuesday – Friday at 1 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m.
Check out the complete rides list as well as height requirements.
And then there’s the food! Sweet, salty, sticky, gooey, all things deep-fried and covered in bacon, the list goes on and on. The hardest part will be trying not to fill up too fast!
Locate your favorite foods with the State Fair Food Finder.
While you’re there, you may want to stop on by the News 9 booth located near Gate 1 on the north side of the fair grounds to meet some of our on-air talent and have a chance to win some swag.
