Norman Police Release Sketch Of Armed Robbery Suspect

Police released a sketch of one of the two suspects in an armed robbery at a Norman apartment complex. 

According to police, the robbery happened on Wednesday, September 9 at the University Greens Apartments, located at 2900 Oak Tree Avenue. A resident told police he was home alone when he found two male suspects standing in his living room.

One suspect reportedly pulled out a small handgun and ordered the victim to get on the ground, and the other suspect tied him up. Once the suspects restrained the victim, they removed property from the apartment and then left in an unknown direction, according to police.

The victim was not injured.  He described both suspects as 20-year-old black men about 6 feet tall with thin builds. One of the suspects wore a white t-shirt over his face and sunglasses.

The victim’s family is now offering a $7,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
