Crews Contain Barn Fire In Jones

Firefighters have contained a barn fire in Jones, Oklahoma, Thursday afternoon.

At about 2 p.m., Oklahoma City firefighters responded to assist Jones firefighters on a vehicle fire in a barn at 12901 E. Wilshire. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they learned that the barn was also on fire.

Crews were able to contain the fire quickly. No injuries were reported. 

Wilshire is closed at Anderson Road.  Drivers are urged to use Hiwassee.
