Edmond Police are investigating after a ‘hit list’ was discovered involving Central Middle School on Tuesday.
Authorities tell News 9 a student found a notebook that contained the supposed hit list. That student turned the notebook over to teachers, who quickly identified the student to whom the notebook belonged.
That student, a seventh grader, was interviewed by Edmond Police and suspended by the school. The student's identity and the length of the suspension is not known.
According to a school spokesperson, the list contained the names of 27 students. The parents of the students whose names were on the list have been contacted, and school officials say a letter will be sent home with all students regarding the situation.
