OKC Man Accused Of Shooting, Killing His Teen Sister

An Oklahoma City man was arrested after police said he shot and killed his 15-year-old sister Monday morning. 

Patrick Thomas Brannan, 20, was arrested in connection to the shooting death of his sister, 15-year-old Kira Brannan. According to police, just before 9 a.m., officers responded to the report of a shooting at a home in the 6300 block of S. Phillips Ave. When they arrived, they found Kira Brannan dead from a gunshot wound.

Later in the afternoon, the victim’s brother, Patrick Brannan, was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of first-degree murder. A bond has not been set. 

Kira Brannan’s death is Oklahoma City’s 70th homicide of 2015, according to police.
