In day five of testimony in the trial against former OCPD officer Daniel Holtzclaw, sex crimes detective Kim Davis returned to the stand.
Holtzclaw faces a total of 36 felony counts for allegedly attacking 13 women while he was on duty.
Davis told the court that some of Holtzclaw’s answers when questioned helped to validate what the first victim had told them. During the detective’s testimony Holtzclaw sat stoically.
Davis said she wanted to know, for DNA reasons, who Holtzclaw had sex with the night of the alleged assault, including his girlfriend. She said that way they could test the DNA found on his pants to see if the profile was a match with anyone with whom he might have had contact.

According to Davis’s testimony, female DNA found on Holtzclaw’s pants did not match the first victim or his girlfriend. That led her to believe there was another possible victim.
