Free Meals, Discounts For Veterans On Veterans Day

Many restaurants and retailers are thanking our veterans for their service by offering free meals and discounts on this Veterans Day, Wednesday, November 11. 

Here is a list of restaurants offering free meals for veterans on Veterans Day,

Applebee’s

All veterans and active duty military can come by any Applebee’s on November 11 and receive a free meal.

Chili’s

Chili’s is offering a free entrée for veterans and active military personnel from its Veterans Day menu.

Bj’s Restaurant

Visit your local BJ’s Restaurant with your military ID on Veterans Day and enjoy a free entrée under $12.95.

Buffalo Wild Wings

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Veterans Day, veterans and active-duty military receive a free small order of traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries.

Golden Corral

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., a free “Thank You” dinner for anyone who has served in the U.S. military.

Hooters

All veterans and active military members can choose from a free meal from the restaurant’s select menu items.

IHOP

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., participating restaurants will offer all veterans and active-duty military members a free stack of Red, White & Blue pancakes.

Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme is offering a free doughnut and small coffee to all veterans on November 11 at participating locations.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Battel offers a free dessert during lunch and dinner.

Denny's

Denny's offers active, inactive and retired military personnel to get a free grand slam from 5 a.m. to noon at participating locations.

Little Caesars 

Veterans and active military members receive a free $5 Lunch Combo from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on November 11.

Logan's Roadhouse

Military and former military can get a free dessert plus their usual 10 percent discount offered every day.

Johnny Carino's

Veterans and active duty military get a free meal with their choice of unlimited soup or salad from a Veterans Day Menu on November 11.

Olive Garden 

Free meal from a limited menu for all veterans and current service members. Family members get 10 percent off.

Outback Steakhouse

The chain offers a free bloomin' onion and beverage on Veterans Day. Active and former service members also get 15 percent off from Nov. 12 through Dec. 31.

Red Lobster 

Free appetizer or dessert from a limited menu from Nov. 9 to Nov. 12.

Red Robin

The chain offers a free double burger and bottomless steak fries on Nov. 11.

RibCrib

The restaurant is giving active duty or retired service members free entrees on November 11. 

Rock & Brews

A free meal is being offered for veterans and first responders on Nov. 11. The meal, a pulled pork sandwich and a free side, will be available from open to close.

Texas Roadhouse 

Veterans and active members of the U.S. military can enjoy free lunch on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at every location across the country. Choose from 10 entrees and a drink. Must provide proof of service including military or Veteran's Administration ID or discharge papers.

Twin Peaks

Free menu item from a special menu on Nov. 11.

Former and current members of the military save an additional 15% on select PCs and electronics on November 11.

Dollar General 

Active duty service members, veterans and their family get an 11% discount on qualifying purchases on November 11.

Great Clips

On November 11, customers who come in for a service can get a free haircut card to give to their favorite veteran. Veterans can also receive a free haircut or get the free haircut card. Haircuts are redeemable until Dec. 31.

Home Depot 

Home Depot offers a 10% discount to all veterans on November 11. Home Depot offers the 10% discount year round to for active duty and retirees

JCPenney 

Current and former military personnel and their family members receive an extra 5 percent off in stores November 4-11.

Lowe's 

All veterans receive a 10 percent discount on November 11. The offer is available in stores only.

Sport Clips 

Participating locations are offering veterans and active duty service members free haircuts on November 11.

Under Armour 

Active duty, retirees and veterans get 15 percent off on all orders.

World Market

Active duty, retirees, veterans, Reserves, Guard, DoD and spouses get 20 percent off entire purchase November 7-11.

Ride-sharing service Uber will give veterans free rides in the metro. But not just for Veterans Day. They'll take you to work, job interviews, and appointments. The rides will start in the next few months.
