OKC Mail Theft Victim Speaks Out About Suspect

Oklahoma City Police say there’s a Grinch amongst us. The culprit is a woman who’s been literally stealing mail out of mailboxes. 

Tracy DeJesus lives in a Northeast Oklahoma City neighborhood. Tracy said her husband confronted the suspect in the act, but she said the woman claimed she was only distributing fliers.  Tracy said her husband filed a police report anyway, and turned in surveillance video of the incident.

Police have put photos of that surveillance video on their Facebook page, and are asking anyone who recognizes the woman to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.  

Tracy DeJesus said the woman needs to be caught. “It’s horrible.  She’s going around taking mail, possibly cards for Christmas, credit cards.”
