Del City police are investigating a violent beating that was caught on camera.

The fight involved a young mother walking with her baby, a Good Samaritan who stopped to help and a group of suspects who are only teenagers.

The attack happened in around 10:30 a.m. over the weekend on SE 44th near Bryant in Del City.

Someone recorded the whole thing, then shared it on Facebook.

“Just get the baby because my sister is about to hit her,” the person recording the video screamed.

A group of friends tracked down a young mother who was pushing her baby in a stroller.

The suspects even warned the mother to get the stroller out of the way so the baby would not get hurt.

Then, the beating began.

Several people attacked the mother, throwing her to the ground while punching, kicking and pulling hair.

You can see someone driving past in the video, trying to stop the attack by honking continuously.

When the female passenger gout out of that car and yelled at them to stop hurting the mother, the crowd beat her up, too.

“It was unsettling to see that many people attacking someone, but in this case, the bystander who intervened, it's even worse when they get assaulted trying to stop it,” Del City police Maj. Jody Suit said.

Del City police got a hold of the video because someone posted it online and then tagged the names of every suspect involved.

“Good evidence and it was given to us by the suspects,” Suit told News 9. “We like that because when you make stupid moves, it helps us solve crimes quicker."

Police said the suspects are all between 14 and 16 years old.

“That type of violence is not normal in Del City, and we don't take it lightly,” Suit explained.  “We definitely want to solve this crime,” he added.

Del City police said they know the identities of everyone involved and they are trying to track all of those juveniles down.

Suit said they plan on filing criminal charges on all the suspects.
