Wrong-Way Driver Causes Fatal Crash In SW OKC

A wrong way driver caused an accident that left one person dead in SW OKC early Sunday morning.

The accident happened just before 2:30 a.m., on I-44 near SW 134^th Street.

Police believe the driver going the wrong way down I-44 was impaired, and arrested him on suspicion of DUI.

Two other cars were involved trying to avoid the original crash; those drivers suffered minor injuries.
