State troopers have begun the fifth day of searching for missing country singer Craig Strickland.

He's been missing since Sunday, when his boat capsized during a hunting trip with his friend - whose body was later found.

Friday morning, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Marine Enforcement Division sent out a bulletin asking that no other boats enter the search area on Kaw Lake.

"We understand people want to volunteer in the search," said Lieutenant Kera Philippi, OHP Public Affairs.

"However, with the search canines and OHP equipment being used, any other boats in the area will hinder our search efforts.

"We are working diligently to locate Craig M. Strickland and appreciate the public taking this request seriously so we  can remain effective in the search operation."

Troopers say sonar, specially-trained canines and a helicopter have all been unsuccessful in their search for Strickland.

Strickland's friend Chase Morland's body was found at Kaw Lake Monday, while Strickland's wife reports that his dog was found alive.

Strickland is in the band Backroad Anthem, and is from Fayetteville.

We got this video from Northwest Arkansas Mall, where people have been stopping by and signing a banner to support both families. There's also a fundraising effort going on for Morland's family.
