Process Server Accused Of Sex Crimes Charged With 17 Felony Counts

A Moore man has been charged in connection with sex crimes against women Tuesday.

Robert Wonsch, 34, was charged with 17 felony counts including seven counts of sexual battery, three counts of engaging in lewdness, two counts of kidnapping, two counts of forcible oral sodomy, one count of rape by instrumentation, one count of impersonating a public officer and one count of pattern of criminal offenses.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents arrested Wonsch Monday, after months of investigating the allegations and interviewing women who came into contact with him.

Eleven women have accused Wonsch, a process server for a company in Oklahoma City, of sexually assaulting them. They said Wonsch would offer to waive or reduce his fees in exchange for sexual favors, OSBI said.

The sexual favors ranged from groping to having oral sex with women.

According to the probable cause affidavit, a man who gave Wonsch free office space told agents he had received complaints from female clients about improper sexual advances from Wonsch.

The man said he received the first complaint in January 2015 and received the other complaints in the months afterward.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Wonsch told at least five women he was a sheriff, was a private investigator with a gun or showed a badge and/or gun.

At least two women said Wonsch showed them his gun before he forced them to perform oral sex on him, according to the probable cause affidavit.

The man who owned the office space said he heard Wonsch make threats toward clients before and had threatened to slash people’s tires and beat people up.

The man also said Wonsch told him “it wasn’t anything a .22 bullet could not handle,” according to the probable cause affidavit.

Wonsch formally vacated the office in May 2015.

Wonsch is in the Cleveland County jail.
