Earthquakes are on the minds of almost everyone in Oklahoma, and on Thursday, a town hall meeting will be held to discuss them.

The meeting takes place at 4:30 p.m. inside the Nigh Center on the UCO campus in Edmond. Experts with the Oklahoma Geological Survey and the Home Builders Association will be just two of the speakers at this town hall meeting.

With earthquakes happening almost daily, they'll have advice for how to protect yourself and your home. They'll likely discuss why the tremors are happening and allow plenty of time for questions which so many of us likely have.

On Monday, a group of Edmond residents filed a lawsuit against 12 energy companies. They said the use of saltwater disposal wells are to blame for the recent earthquakes in the area. Some of those earthquakes measured at least magnitude 4 or higher.
