Norman police have arrested two suspects, and are looking for one more in connection to the death of a man who was shot and killed at an apartment back in December, 2015.

According to police, on Thursday, 19-year-old Anthony Mundell and an unidentified 17-year-old male suspect were taken into custody in connection to the death of 41-year-old Kenneth Keeling. Both suspects were charged with first-degree murder.

On December 14, 2015, officers found Keeling lying on the ground inside his unit at the Summerfield Village Apartments, located 920 E. Lindsey, suffering from a gunshot wound. Keeling was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Further investigation into the incident revealed that Keeling was a bystander who was fatally shot while the shooter attempted to fire shots toward another group of people, according to police.

An arrest warrant is still outstanding for a third suspect, 18-year-old Tevin Kyreece Martin-Hicks. If you have information regarding the whereabouts of Hicks, immediately contact Detective Brett Willer at (405)-217-7742 or the Norman Investigations Center at (405)-366-5235.
