Midwest City employees are holding a fundraiser Saturday, February 13, to help a former coworker get a new heart.
Corey “Moe” Mosley worked with a utilities crew for almost 15 years, but got very sick and had to medically retire.
Mosley found out he had congestive heart failure and his heart was giving up.
While hospitalized, he died and came back twice.
Mosley now needs a heart pump to help keep his heart working until he can get a new one.

The pump procedure costs six figures.
The community is holding a pancake and sausage fundraiser called "Have a Heart and Some Moe Pancakes" at the Midwest City FOP Lodge, located at 8705 S.E. 15th Street.
The cost is $5 per person. Serving starts at 8 a.m. and lasts until 11 a.m. or until pancakes run out.
If you are unable to make it to the pancake breakfast, you can donate to Mosley here:
