Oklahoma City police continue to search for a pickup truck driver who left the scene after causing a crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist.

According to police, on January 30, a motorcycle was traveling southbound on S. May near S.W. 18th when a pickup truck made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, causing it to crash into the truck.

Police said the truck then left the scene. The motorcyclist, Brandon Lawson, was seriously injured and had to have one of his legs amputated. He is expected to be released from the hospital Friday evening.

The pickup truck that fled the scene is described as a silver Nissan Titan. No further details are available.

If you have any information regarding this crash, call Crime Stoppers at (405)-235-7300, or leave a tip online. You can remain anonymous and may earn a cash reward.

News 9's Adrianna Iwasinski spoke with Lawson, who is now pleading for the hit-and-run driver to come forward. See more of the story on News 9 at 6 p.m.
