Ponca City Firefighter Run Over By Fire Truck

A Ponca City firefighter is recovering after he was accidentally run over by a fire truck.

Lieutenant Lyle Crandall was headed to pick up a brush pumper at the fire station when he was hit by the fire engine.

He was immediately treated at the scene and was taken by medi flight to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Crandall suffered traumatic injury to his left foot and leg, as well as his right leg in the accident.
