Motorcyclist Injured After Leading Edmond Police On Chase

A motorcyclist is being transported to the hospital after leading Edmond police on a chase and crashing into another vehicle Thursday morning.

According to Edmond police, an officer on a motorcycle tried to pull over the suspect, who was also riding a motorcycle, for a traffic violation. However, the suspect refused to stop. That's when the chase began.

The short pursuit ended at Edmond Road and Kelly. Several lanes are blocked in the area.

The suspect was transported to OU Medical Center and is said to be in very critical condition. The officer and one person in the vehicle that was hit by the suspect were not injured.
