Troopers say a 10-year-old boy rode a mini-bike into the path of a pickup around 11 a.m. Sunday a few miles outside Eufaula. The boy and the driver of the pickup are both in critical condition after the McIntosh County crash, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers say the boy, who was not identified because of his age, drove a Monster Moto-80 out of a private drive onto Cedar Road in Porum Landing. Norma Sellers was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado down the county road and hit the motorcycle, a report states.

The boy was taken by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital where he's listed in critical condition with numerous injuries including head, arm, leg and trunk. Troopers say he wasn't wearing a helmet.

Sellers, a 56-year-old Warner resident, was taken to a McAlester hospital in critical condition with unknown injuries. The collision report states troopers don't know if she was wearing a seatbelt, but her airbags did not deploy.

Both were in apparently normal condition before the crash, according to OHP. The cause of the collision is listed as failure to yield from a private drive.
