Oklahoma City police and fire investigators are still working to determine how three people died Saturday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

A police spokesman told News 9 that four people were in the home at 8712 SW 36 Street, when one of them made a 911 call at 8:53 a.m.

A fire spokesman told News 9 two people were found dead in the house, and a third was rushed to an area hospital, where that person also died.

The fourth person in the home was the person who called 911.

Police and fire spokespeople told News 9 that none of the four family members in the home showed signs of physical trauma.

They said while the scene was “consistent” with carbon monoxide poisoning, Oklahoma Natural Gas said the CO levels found in the home were within acceptable levels.

A police spokesman said there would be no other statements from police about what happened, until the state medical examiner’s office makes a determination about the causes of deaths on Monday — at the earliest.

Luis Lopez’s home sits next to the home where it happened.

He said he’s concerned about investigators might find.

“I’m gonna have my house checked.  Just to be sure everything is fine,” he said.
