News On 6 storm trackers Val and Amy Castor rescued a man as his grader was surrounded by flames in Tuesday's wildfires.
They captured the rescue on video as the Woods County employee jumped into the Castors' truck seconds before the fire made it to the grader.
"He can't get out! Come out, guy," you can hear them say.
Val appeared on 6 in the Morning Wednesday to discuss the rescue. He said they watched him trying to make a fire break when it became apparent he wasn't going to make it out of a ditch, and they needed to take action.

"I've never seen a fire move that fast," Val said. "That was a very dangerous fire."
Val said they drove up to the grader, and the man jumped in. Both Castors could feel the heat from the truck's open windows as they made the rescue.
"I just slammed it in reverse and floored it," he said. His wife saw burning pieces of grass fly through the truck as they went.
"God was watching out of us, for sure," Val said.
We have learned the fire missed the grader which is already back in service.
