Driver Unharmed After Semi Catches Fire In North OKC

A semi truck caught fire overnight near 122nd St. and Broadway in Oklahoma City after the driver got out to check on a tire problem.

The incident occurred after the driver of the 18-wheel food truck noticed that one of his tires wasn't moving. A police officer stopped to help, and as they began to smell something burning, the tire blew up.

Both individuals were checked out by EMSA but neither one was harmed. The only part of the truck that caught fire was the brakes.
