Police said 35-year-old Bryan Lee Crumb had been with the Guthrie Police Department for about 10 years. But for the second time this year, Crumb is on the other side of the law.
He was arrested and suspended in January when court documents said he showed up to work in full police uniform, smelling of alcohol and reportedly crying, telling his fellow officers "he had not slept well for days” and he was under a lot of stress from a divorce.

“This isn’t just saddening to me personally, because I know him, but for our entire department. However, we are not going to treat an officer any different than we would anyone else,” said Sgt. Anthony Gibbs with Guthrie Police.
Megan Dickinson said Crumb's daughter plays with her 8-year-old girl. And on April 4, still under suspension, Crumb was dropping his daughter off at their house in his blue Lincoln Towncar and Dickinson heard screams.
“So we came out and he was in a panic and his daughter was in a panic, of course, because it was an accident,” she said.
According to the court documents, Dickinson’s daughter told police Crumb "ran over [his daughter's] back."
Dickinson said Crumb was telling his daughter he was sorry repeatedly and that he didn’t mean to hurt her.
Investigators said after the crash he took off with his daughter, headed to the hospital and had another crash near the intersection of Wentz and College.
The girl was eventually mediflighted to OU Childrens.
“He felt really guilty about it. He was crying when he came back afterward,” Dickinson told News 9.
The City terminated Crumb, and recent test results confirmed he had too much to drink, and he was once again taken into custody on Wednesday.
The girl is out of the hospital now recovering in her mother's custody, according to police.
