A bomb squad robot has disintegrated a suspicious device found in northeast Oklahoma City, Monday morning.
According to police, the device was found at about 8:30 a.m. at N.E. 37th and N. Stiles. Officers said the device appears to be a pipe bomb.
Crews shut down traffic in the area during the investigation. Police did not evacuate any nearby businesses. They told everyone to stay inside.
A bomb squad robot was able to disintegrate the device at about 10:45 a.m. No one was injured.
