El Reno Man Found Dead In Canadian County Jail Cell

An El Reno man was found unresponsive inside a jail cell in Canadian County on Sunday.

Anthony Kade Davis, 46, was found unresponsive inside his cell.  Detention officers immediately initiated life-saving techniques.

Davis was transported to a hospital in El Reno where medical personnel pronounced him dead.

An autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death.

An OSBI special agent was called to the scene immediately to collect information and evidence in the case. The agent will provide the district attorney a full report.

Davis was booked into the Canadian County jail May 31, on a warrant.
