Kevin Durant's departure to the Warriors shocked the basketball world on Monday morning, but none were more surprised than the Thunder fans in Oklahoma City. Along with the fans, there were some Thunder players who were surprised by the news, and supposedly all found out the same way we did.
Thunder players found out about the KD signing through the letter just like the rest of the world #Wow

“The whole country was shell shocked,” Payne told the Oklahoman's Anthony Slater. “So you definitely know we were. It's something you never expect.”
Now that the dust has settled a bit, and Kevin Durant has officially been introduced as a Warrior, one Thunder player has made a declaration about how it isn't the best idea to burn jerseys.
Don't waste and burn anymore jerseys #ThunderNation

Here is a good idea ?? Lol pic.twitter.com/DEOV2wRkWV
Kanter clearly was using his sense of humor with the tweet, but some will look at it as a subtle jab at Durant, who left a team that was three minutes away from the NBA Finals this past season. But likely Kanter is simply excited to have Victor Oladipo as a new teammate.
