OU First, OSU Third In Preseason Big 12 Football Poll

Oklahoma picked up 24-of-26 first-place votes and was deemed the favorite to win the Big 12 this season in the preseason media poll. TCU received the other two first-place votes and came in second overall while Oklahoma State was third. Those three finished atop the conference last season.

Baylor and Texas came in close at fourth and fifth respectively and were followed by Texas Tech and West Virginia at sixth and seventh. Kansas State was picked eighth, Iowa State was ninth and Kansas brought up the rear.
