Emergency Protective Order Filed Against Tulsa Dentist Accused Of Murder

A dentist is accused of killing his girlfriend's 19-month-old baby. While he's still behind bars, the mother of the child is asking for protection.

The emergency protection order has been signed by the judge and is already in effect. The petition for a protective order was filed by Bert Franklin's girlfriend. He's the Tulsa dentist accused in the death of the woman's 19-month-old son, Lincoln.

Documents show Franklin injured, tortured or maimed the baby at the girlfriend's house. Little Lincoln was flown to the hospital where he died from skull fractures and brain bleeds.

Documents state, before Franklin was arrested he texted the woman 17 times, sent her pictures, and called her over 20 times even after being told by family members to stop.

Though he's behind bars with no bond, Franklin's attorney, Scott Adams, is asking the judge to consider a $100,000 bond.
