Police Arrest Suspect In Burglary Of Warr Acres Restaurant

Police have arrested a suspect in the burglary of a Warr Acres restaurant early Wednesday morning.

According to police, at about 4 a.m., officers responded to the report of a burglary of ZamZam Mediterranean Grill & Hookah, located at Westgate Shopping Center at 3913 N. MacArthur Blvd. in Warr Acres. A homeless man reportedly witnessed the burglary and called police.

A K9 officer found the suspect at N.W. 40th and MacArthur. The suspect, later identified as Jerome Hopkins, was then taken into custody.
