A Vietnam Veteran devastated by the theft of just about everything he owned, has something to smile about Wednesday night. One of his most-prized possessions was returned.
Monday, September 5, News 9 told you about Mike Prunsky. He's an aircraft mechanic who moved to Oklahoma last week from Colorado.

Now, he's got his Harley back by a team effort.
Prunsky just took a job at Will Rogers World Airport. Thieves stole a trailer containing everything Mike owned from a North Meridian Apartment complex parking lot last Tuesday. Police said Tuesday a man who lives in Southwest Oklahoma City alerted officers after seeing photos of Mike's bike on the morning news.
“He stopped, he called police, said ‘Hey that motorcycle’s here. I just bought it.’, said OKC Police Msgt. Gary Knight.
Police said the man claims he paid $3,000 for it.
Prunsky, who's also Rider for the Patriot Guard, said the Harley's worth about 15 times that.
“I thank everybody in Oklahoma. I really appreciate it. You guys really care, Oklahoma people care. I didn’t think anybody would do this. This is nice,” expressed Prunsky.
Honoring America's Warriors Director Scotty Dee paid $210 to get Mike's bike from the Puckett's Police Impound lot late Wednesday. He said donations in Mike Prunsky's name are greatly appreciated.
“We’re getting close; we’ve raised $1,600 so far. We need to raise another $6,000 I think, and that will pretty much get him going,” said Dee.
Puckett’s Tow Lot also went out of its way to help Mike's bike be released back to him.
Anyone wanting to help this Vietnam Veteran can do so by going to Honoring America's Warriors website.
