USGS: 3.8 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Central Oklahoma

Oklahomans were left shaken after an earthquake struck the central part of the state Thursday night.

Around 9:06 p.m., our News 9 seismograph detected the 3.8 magnitude quake. Its epicenter was located in Spencer, four miles north of Midwest City, six miles north, northeast Del City, and eight miles east, northeast of Oklahoma City.

It was about two and a half miles deep.

At this time, no one has reported any injuries or damages associated with this earthquake.
