Police have identified the woman who led to the arrest of an OCPD officer as 21-year-old Kiana Mongi.

Lt. Alexander Edwards, 36, was charged with aiding in prostitution, conspiring to commit a felony, obstruction of justice and using a computer to violate state laws.

Oklahoma City police spokesperson, Capt. Paco Balderrama, held a news conference Monday morning to discuss Edwards' arrest.

During the news conference, Balderrama said police learned Friday afternoon that Edwards, a 10-year veteran, was involved in communicating with a woman, now identified as Mongi, who was posting internet ads for escort and prostitution purposes.

Mongi was arrested and booked on Friday for Prostitution and Using Access to Computers. Bond was set at $2,500 for each charge.
